Pathways into teaching
EMTTP offer are currently offering places via the Core (Provider Led) and School direct (Tuition fee) pathways.
Regardless of the route you choose to apply through you will undertake the same model of training. The majority of your year will be spent in a school setting and this will be underpinned by knowledge gained in weekly centre based training and monthly university training.
All of our trainees, if successful, will end their training with the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by EMTTP and a PGCE (with 60 Masters credits) awarded by the University of Nottingham.
